Another Narration
We would like to mention here narration from Bukhari about Mutta'a.
Here is the narration.
Please read the narration of Bukhari and find the person in the Islamic history who changed the proven Quranic law and testified by holy Prophet (pbuh). You will find it that it was Umar bin Khattab who changed it.
Some more narrations about Mutta'a in Sahih Muslim
Another Narration
We believe, In the light of above proofs it would be enough to understand that Umar bin Khattab is the one who changed the law of Mutta'a with regards to temporary marriage and also Mutta al Hajj.
We know that our Sunni fellows bring the hadith against Mutta'a telling that the Prophet banned it forever at the time of Khaybar (a fake hadith, rebuttal of that hadith can be read at Shia Pen). But there is another hadith that the Prophet again allowed it at the time of victory of Mecca (year of Awtas).
Another Narration Part 1
Part 2
We believe, in the light of above proofs it would be enough to understand that Umar bin Khattab is
If Mutta'a was banned at the time Khaiber, how come it was again allowed at the victory of Mecca? We know that the battle Khaiber happened in 7th Hijjrah and the victory of Mecca was in 8th Hijjrah.
We have also mentioned the narrations by Jabir bin Abdullah (ra) that they used to do Mutta'a the whole life time of the Prophet(pbuh) and during the time of first caliph Abu Bakr, Umar bin Khattab banned it! We have also mentioned the narration about Abdullah bin Abbas from Bukhari.
According to Ibn e Abbas opinion Mutta'a is allowed until the Day of Judgment.
We would like to mention another interesting thing that Mutta'a is also supported with the verse of Quran 4:24. In this verse arabic word Mutta'a ( FA MAS TAM TA'ATUM) itself is used.
This is also interesting that Sunni sources say that this verse was revealed at the year of AWTAS (9th Hijjrah) which supports the Mutta'a.
Please find the proof from Suni sources.
First Proof
Another Proof
"And all married women except those whom your right hands possess (this is) Allah's ordinance to you, and lawful for you are (all women) besides those, provided that you seek (them) with your property, taking (them) in marriage not committing fornication. Then as to those whom you profit by, give them their dowries as appointed; and there is no blame on you about what you mutually agree after what is appointed; surely Allah is Knowing, Wise."
-Quran 4:24
We do not find any other verse in the Quran which cancel the verse of Mutta'a. Is it not strange that Umar bin Khattab ban something which is proven by Quran and Sunnah, as we find in the other narrations of Sahih Muslim.
Please check Umar bin Khattab in Sahih Muslim and also read Umar bin Khattab in Bukhari
Please read the narration in Sahih Muslim that Umar bin Khattab did not know the rule of asking permission. He said "This command of Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) had remained hidden from me up till now due to (my) business in the market".
We can find in the above narration that how much it was difficult for Umar bin Khattab to know the verse of KALALA. Umar bin Khattab asked about this from the Prophet(pbuh) again and again and annoyed the Prophet.
We are thinking about our Sunni fellows who believe that if there would be prophet after Prophet Mohamamd (pbuh) it would be Umar bin Khattab and Umar bin Khattab changed the rules of Quran and Sunnah as we have shared above and also in our research about Bukhari. Umar bin Khattab himself was not able to know the verse of KALALA easily!
Although we have mentioned the narrations about Muta'awith women in a separate article, here is the proof that Umar bin Khattab is the one who banned Muta'a of Hajj and Muta'a of women.
There is another narration in Sunni books that Umar Bin Khattab said himself that there were two Muta'as at the time of The Holy Prophet, I ban two of them (Kanzul Ammal, Zadal Mead by Ibne Qayyam).
Hadith e Qirtas is very famous in Bukhari and Muslim that holy Prophet asked for pen and paper to write something for his companion, so they won't astray from right path. Umar bin Khattab led that group of companions who refused to give it to the Prophet, they quarreled in front of Prophet and the Prophet sent them away from him.
In this narration they translated the word يَهْجُرُ as unconsciousness for the Prophet but actually it means someone talking about something while he is not to himself. This is a sever insult of the Prophet while the Prophet asked them to give him pen and paper, then the Prophet sent them out.
Here is the narration.
If the holy Prophet was unconsciousness, then why the Prophet (pbuh) said to them - go away from here, do not quarrel here?
There are so many verses in Quran always telling us that Obey the mesenger of Allah, anything Prophet gives you take it, if the Prophet stops you from anything, stop it. But we find something different in this companions.
