Imam Ali played a vital role in the battle of Badar. 70 pagans were killed in Badar abd 70 were arrested as prisoners of war. Imam Ali (as) killed 36 pagans out 70. Those who were killed in the battle of Badar, were all big shots Quraish and relatives of Abu Sufyan. The battle of Badar gave big shock to Umayyads and increased thr enmity towards Prophet Mohammad (pbuh), Imam Ali and Hamzah (rz).
بدر کی جنگ میں امام علی نے دوسری جنگوں کی طرح انتہائی اہم کردار ادا کیا . بدر کی جنگ میں 70 کافر قتل ہوے اور 70 ہی قیدی بنے . امام علی نے بدر کی جنگ میں 36 کافر قتل کئے. بدر میں جو کافر قتل ہوے ان میں قریش کے اہم سردار تھے جو ابوسفیان کے رشتہ دار بھی تھے . اسی وجہ سے بنو امیہ کی دشمنی خاندان رسول کے ساتھ اور بھی بڑھ گیئ. اور اس دشمنی کا بدلہ احد اور کربلا میں لیا گیا
بخاری کی یہ روایت ثابت کرتی ہے کہ قرآن کریم کی آیت 22 : 19 یہ مومن و کافر دو باہمی دشمن ہیں جنہوں نے پروردگار کے بارے میں آپس میں اختلاف کیا ہے ... امام علی، حضرت حمزہ اور حضرت عبیدہ کے بارے بدر کے دن نازل ہوئی

On the other hand we can see in Bukhari that Ayesha bin Abu Baker admits herself there is nothing revealed about us except the story of IFK in surah Noor.
